Hi Friends!

There have been lots of fun developments so far in 2019.  I was thrilled to be juried into 6 plein air events this year!! It kicked off with the Carmel Art Festival.  The astounding beauty of Carmel and the surrounding area inspired me and I felt like I produced some of my best work until that point.  My favorite piece was Carmel Splash.

I was happy to sell so many paintings at the event and what an honor to be among artists whose work I so admire!

Then I was juried into the Los Gatos plein air and sales were fantastic there too. The highlight was winning People’s Choice Award for my painting Summer Zen.  Again, what an honor to be selected.

Next came the North Tahoe Arts Plein Air.  The weather was perfect, the lake waters beguiling and summer flowers infused the landscape.  My favorite painting from that event is Bristlecone Bay.

Next came the Estes Valley Plein Air where I plein air painted in Rocky Mountain National Park.  I will post images of my favorites soon.

Coming up next is the Steamboat Plein Air and then the Capitola Plein Air.
