It has been a surreal year thus far. As always, I am focused on the positive to keep my head and heart in the game of life and creativity.
During CV-19 lock down I took to the studio with inspiration from my experience at the Carmel Art Festival Plein Air in 2019 and created these large scale studio pieces:

In 2020, I was thrilled to be accepted to the Carmel Art Festival Plein Air, the Alameda Plein Air, and the Estes Valley Plein Air, however these and other plein air events that I usually participate in have been postponed to 2021. That is with the exception of the Steamboat Art Museum’s Plein Air at which I was thrilled to sell many paintings. Here are a few of my favorites:

Due to Covid, I took my Painting in Layers workshop out doors with masks and social distancing. It was my joy to be able to teach a series of 14 Thursdays of Plein Air Painting at Pebble Beach.
